Sparkling Maple Margarita

Margaritas are typically sweetened with agave, simple syrup or triple sec. We LOVE this maple version for a deeper nuanced sweetness that also adds in an extra boost of minerals - Zinc, Copper, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Potassium.

Leave the tequila out for a refreshing and delicious lime aid. 

1 - 1 ½  oz tequila blanco
1 oz lime juice
½  oz maple syrup
Sparkling water (we love Topo Chico)

Fill a shaker about ½ way with ice. Add tequila, lime juice and maple syrup. Shake well and pour into glass. Top off with sparkling water and a lime wedge.

For a salt rim:
Place some kosher salt on a small plate. Rub the rim of your glass with a lime wedge and then dip the edge of the glass in the salt.
